In short: We Are Working is a fully managed remote staffing solution, with transparent pricing starting at $7/hour – all in. Think of us as your “A-Team” for going remote.
First, we work with you to understand your business’s unique needs. Then we work with you to craft a bespoke remote staffing strategy for your business, while also streamlining your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into measurable and repeatable processes. Next, we match you with our globally sourced talent who will serve as your ongoing virtual assistants. We ensure anyone from our team providing work for you is trained on your processes, available when you need them, and monitored to ensure performance metrics are met.
Where is We Are Working located?
We are a 100% remote company, which means we have no physical office. However, we are a U.S.-based company with a growing team of remote workers across the globe; based in cities across the United States, the Philippines, Honduras, Morocco, and the list goes on. In fact, we have started publishing employee spotlights, so you can get to know our team of professionals better.
How much experience does We Are Working have with remote staffing?
The end-to-end remote staffing solution provided by We Are Working is the product of over eight years of hands-on experience in streamlining and refining 100% remote operations. Every step in our process has been thoroughly tried and tested in our own organization of over 300 employees and contractors worldwide before ever being recommended to any client. As a result, we have a proprietary holistic approach to remote staffing that has been fine-tuned to add value – such as decreasing cost, propelling your business’s growth, freeing up key stakeholders from routine tasks, and even reclaiming personal time – while simplifying operations for our clients. In fact, we are so confident that we will add value to your organization that we will refund your first week if you are not satisfied. So far, we’ve had no takers on that offer.

How is We Are Working different from online independent contractor sites?
Independent contractor sites provide a very different solution. If you are looking for a short-term contractor with no real oversight, and you are ok with having to figure out how to administer and manage the work – then they may be an option for you. If you are looking for a fully managed solution, we are able to support your needs starting at $7/hour – all in. Our focus is on supporting clients with ongoing remote staffing needs. We work with you to develop streamlined SOPs, and then we train all workers assigned to you on those processes. On top of that, we provide monitoring of each worker to ensure they are performing up to your and our standards.
How are We Are Working’s processes different from other companies with virtual assistant services?
Only We Are Working is looking at the big picture and supplying you with an A-to-Z remote staffing solution. We don’t assign you a VA and call it a day, nor do we toss you into a never-ending list of potential workers and leave it up to you to recruit, train, monitor and coach them. We not only provide remote global talent that we have been through testing and training, but we also have monitoring and auditing protocols to ensure productivity benchmarks and being met and that you are consistently receiving quality work.
But, let’s rewind: before we even get to that point, we first work to ensure you have tight operational workflow processes, by working closely with you and your existing team to establish documented and tested SOPs. This results in fewer operational headaches, not more, and can even uncover redundancies that can be eliminated.
How would I know if a remote worker is actually working or not?
It might seem counterintuitive, but any remote worker you encounter from We Are Working will be held accountable for their time to a much higher degree than most traditional in-office employees. Everyone on the We Are Working team, up to executive-level roles, all use computers equipped with activity-logging software. This software records the amount of actual work being produced – to the second – and backs it up with random screenshots that our auditing team routinely reviews. You will get weekly reports with a summary of everything, and we welcome you to do your own inspection at any time. And of course, there will be productivity benchmarks in place to ensure required metrics are met.
We Are Adaptable
Will a remote worker be assigned exclusively to our company?
If you have full-time work, then they would work exclusively for your company. However, we do provide a team approach, with multiple assistants trained on your SOPs, to ensure you have the level of support and oversight needed in order to be successful. This team approach also helps us keep down the cost of our services.
What hours of the day are remote workers available?
What hours would you like us to work? Some of our clients choose to have us work while they are working – regular 9am – 5pm hours. Others choose to have us work while they sleep, to provide 24-hour coverage. Your assistants can be available on nights, weekends, mornings, afternoons – you set the hours.
It seems like a lot of our tasks can’t be done remotely. Will this work for my business?
We often hear from business leaders who are interested in going remote but aren’t sure how to. An overwhelming amount of the time, we find that the task indeed can be done remotely – unless you are in a role such as a plumber or a firefighter, then yeah you need to be in-person on the job. You may need to be open to some new strategies and technologies, but we have this down to a science and will make the process easy for you.
Can We Are Working also help me manage my in-office staff in the same way you handle remote staff?
Absolutely! When talking about things like activity trackers, SOPs, operating manuals, task management systems, and instant chat tools, these are not only for remote workforces but are valuable components around any office-based workforce as well. If you just want our help with implementing some of these items in the office, we can do that too.
What if I end up having more workload and need more help with remote staff?
We can’t wait to get that message from you! We’ll restart the process of training new virtual assistants for your team. And we’ll make the process as seamless as possible for you.

Do you handle short-term per diem work?
No, we focus on providing remote staffing solutions to companies with ongoing needs. Chances are, if you are finding your business is in a growth phase and you are now needing help here and there in order to keep up – you probably will actually need it on an ongoing basis as your business continues to grow. Will we be locked into a contract if we try this out?
We don’t lock you into a long-term contract. If you ever feel we aren’t adding enough value, just let us know. We will value any feedback you can give us since we value continuous improvement, and you are free to take what you have learned from us.
Do you have monthly minimum service fees?
Short answer: No. One of our guiding principles is to simplify our clients’ lives. With this in mind, we use a simple invoicing structure of charging an hourly rate for any work done for you by our team.
